We have been busy making a Christmas cake! We weighed, chopped, stirred and mixed together our ingredients.
Christmas has arrived in Oak class!
What an exciting week! On Wednesday we all came to school wearing odd socks to raise awareness of anti bullying week. In Oak class we talked about what makes us different and what makes us special. We thought about how we should treat people and who we could tell if we are not happy about how somebody has treated us. We have also been enjoying the story of Owl Babies by Martin Waddell and have learnt lots of owl facts. Ask us what we know about owls! Also this week our new touch screen arrived!
The workmen's power tools were very noisy!
We had great fun on Friday raising money for Children in Need by coming to school dressed in spots. We spent the day taking part in lots of fun activities with the children from other classes.
This week we have been enjoying the stories about Percy the Park Keeper and we have even built our own park in our classroom! We have learnt about the different woodland animals and found out about those animals that hibernate and migrate during winter. We finished off our week by making poppy wreaths. Ask us about what we know about Remembrance day!
Rev.Julia came to visit us!
If you go down to the woods today, you'll be sure of a big surprise...

We love phonics!
Exploring and investigating during child initiated learning.
We loved showing our grown ups around our classroom!
We have thought about what we need to do to keep ourselves safe and happy in our classroom.
